BEFORE THE EVENT

  • Remember, soundpedro will not furnish any equipment. Artists are responsible for all computers, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, power strips, generators/batteries, cables etc. soundpedro will provide the site(s) and, in some cases, power. Sites not near buildings will not have power available. Portable batteries are a good option (Portable Power Station: https://tinyurl.com/bd73y9a4).
  • Artists will be emailed a AGCC 2026 Temporary Installation Form (required by AGCC). When you receive it, please fill out and email it back (A photo of a printed and filled out form is fine).

EVENT PROMOTION:

DAY OF THE EVENT – June 6, 2026, 11 AM – 11 PM
Artists cannot begin set up before the time and date, or come the day after for tear down. Approach this as if it were a pop-up.
Artists or artist representatives must be onsite to install, de-install, and host the installation for the duration of the event.

  • CHECK-IN 11AM – 2PM in the front lobby of Building A to check contact info, verify receipt of loan form, etc. (If no-one is at the Artist Registration table when you arrive, please call/text Marco 562 413 5868, and someone will come over to sign you in.)
  • You will receive a number disk to place at your location. Please return it to us at the end of the event.
  • If you are unable to check in during the aforementioned time slot, please let us know.
  • DON’T PROCEED TO YOUR LOCATION AND SET UP UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED IN.

  • INSTALL AFTER CHECK-IN
    You will be able to drive to your spot, or nearby, for load-in and then will be directed to a to-be designated location. Artists must unload and move their car to artist parking by 5:30 PM.
  • We advise that, in addition to your gear, you bring extra cords, power strips, duct tape, etc.
  • Sunset is at 8 PM. Bring lighting fixtures (e.g. clamp lights) if in an unlit location. Artists should incorporate lighting elements if necessary (Keep in mind the extra power draw from lighting if you are relying on a generator or battery). If possible, visit Angels Gate after dark, prior to the event (Closing time is normally at 9PM).
  • Be prepared for rough terrain, sun exposure, WIND, and extreme temperature changes (e.g. jackets, umbrellas, blankets, practical footwear, etc.) IT CAN GET EFFING COLD UP THERE!!!
    Please ensure that your proposed work is stable and wind tolerant.
  • Bring a friend/helper TO GUARD your equipment if you need to run an errand, visit the restrooms, or wish to tour the event. AGCC is not liable for any stolen or damaged equipment and/or art.

  • SOUND CHECK 6:00 – 6:30 PM
    Please be completely set up and ready to go by 6:30PM.

  • EVENT 7PM – 10PM
  • All Artists must  perform/present for three hours.
  • Bring a friend/helper to attend to the installation and equipment in the event you run an errand, visit the restrooms, or wish to tour the event. DO NOT LEAVE ANY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT UNATTENDED.
  • During the event, there will be a food truck and coffee truck on-site. There will be vegetarian options. If you set up early, bring water and snacks.
  • DE-INSTALL & CHECK-OUT: 10PM – 11PM, NOT BEFOREand must be completed before you leave AGCC. 
    NO HANGING OUT TO SOCIALIZE. Check in with Marco before you leave. Otherwise, the park rangers will lock us at 11:00PM.
    ALSO, return the number disk you will be given at check-in.
