This piece explores the engineering of child celebrities through the eyes of an alien observer.
Johanna Hauser grew up in Austin, Texas. After studying German literature at Bard College, she pursued a Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. A collage artist at heart, Johanna’s practice hinges on working with what’s available, be it good, bad or ugly. Her work renders problematic characters through a haphazard but precise construction of found footage.
