Sonic Habitat no.148
The piece is a visual poem reciting circularity of sight and sound. It starts out with a still image of blue, green, and transparent glass marbles scattered on a blank five-staff music sheet. Then, it abruptly transitions into a view in motion walking on a bridge across a freeway. The bridge wall with countless circular holes perform an optical rhythm, giving transient fragments of cityscape.
Sonic Habitat no.189
The work explores different scales of time measurement with language and visual. The instructional prompts questions different temporality and scales of time.
