Costantino Rizzuti

PARTICIPATION

earmaginations On-site & Online June 7th

Still (moving) life II is a silent video that elaborates the still life tradition through the use of moving images. This is the second work in a series of videos dedicated to filming flowers, plants and trees observed on different time scales. Their slow or fast movement becomes the object of observation by the viewer. The paradox of representation seeks to inspire a reflection on our way of observing and considering what is natural and what is artificial. The objective of the work is to tend to suggest new ways of relating to the elements of the Nature in which we live.

Moving paintings
Moving streaks of color dance before our eyes. They create symmetrical shapes, intertwine and disappear in fluid paths of colors that evoke an abstract painting in continuous movement.
