Casioshack is a long form ensemble performance piece that employs technology and acoustics for setting sound in an environmental location. The performing members and automated instruments create a sonic texture that evolves over the hours of presentation, including interaction with the environment, audience, and each other. Visual elements are also included in the environmental interaction.
“Casioshack and Friends” is a collaborative ensemble including Thomas Miley, David Javelosa, LX Rudis, Brian Coburn and other guest artists.
