PARTICIPATION
Chai Circle: Sonic Addition is a participatory sound performance and ritual installation that translates collective intention into ephemeral, analog sound tapestries. Rooted in shared cultural practices of tea-drinking, wish-making, and communal gathering, the work transforms Oracle Egg into a temporary pop-up third space: a site where strangers co-create an emergent sonic environment that dissolves and re-forms over the course of the evening.
I am an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in the fields of sculpture, sound and performance. I’m endlessly fascinated with the materiality of the post-natural world, peering between moral ecological binaries where contamination occurs and the possibilities of magic in art are revealed.
