Texture Bubble
I have created 3 Acoustically Sonic Sculptures. All pieces will have electronic pickups going though a sound board with amps amps pushing out to speakers creating my Textured Bubble of Sound. I will be playing and inviting people to play with me. My Sculptures are beautiful materials put together to capture the sound of the world. Wood, Metal, Plastic, Stone!
GreggEgg Emmel is a sculptor of Sonic Art as he builds and performs his Art. Creating or curating GreggEgg is after the sound of materials. A piece of wood doesn’t care whether it is in a bridge or a sculpture. Call it art, or industrial design, or even music—these are just words. The same steel that reinforce concrete can also become the voice of a musical instrument. A stretched canvas can be a painting or a drum or even both at the same time. You can’t have preconceptions—you just have to be open to what life offers.
