glitches: in the water, explores the connection between visual and sound. A sample of Reflets dans l’eau by Claude Debussy is used on the modular synthesizer to create generative drones. The modular synthesizer is integrated with a computer to make projected visual images audio reactive.
Kevin Chan is a LA-born and raised artist. He holds a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach. CSULB was also where he was introduced to modular synthesizers and sound design, studying under Rychard Cooper.
Kevin has also worked as a photographer and explores the mix between the two disciplines of sound and visuals.
