PARTICIPATION
Casioshack 2025 is a long form ensemble performance piece that employs technology and acoustics for setting sound in an environmental location. The performing members and automated instruments create a sonic texture that evolves over the hours of presentation, including interaction with the environment, audience, and each other. Visual elements will also be included in the environmental interaction.
“Casioshack and Friends” is a collaborative ensemble including David Javelosa, LX Rudis and Brian Coburn. They initially collaborated as part of the Sega Genesis audio development team, and have evolved over the years creating spontaneous sound installations and performances all over California. Casioshack and Friends will also be joined by other surprise audio guests.
