It is important that artists understand that soundpedro is a sound art event and not a music event. Work characterized solely by the elements and hierarchical use of pitch, melody, rhythm, tempo or meter will not be accepted. Juxtaposing musical content with sound or other sensory expressions should express the differences.
If the proposed work “sounds like music,” we require an explanation as to why it qualifies as sound art.
