fINdings Presents a Special Art Saloon at the Grand Annex — June 4, 2026
Featuring a preview of artists from soundpedro2026

San Pedro, CA — fINdings, in collaboration with Grand Vision and FLOOD, presents a special Art Saloon at the Grand Annex Music Hall on Thursday, June 4, 2026, offering a preview of artists and projects from this year’s soundpedro festival, taking place Saturday evening, June 6 at Angels Gate Cultural Center.

This one-night event invites audiences to engage with a selection of experimental, sound-based artworks ahead of the full soundpedro2026 program. Produced annually by the artist group FLOOD, soundpedro is a season of events that explores how sound is perceived, produced, and experienced. Notably, soundpedro is not a traditional music festival, but rather a platform for interdisciplinary sound art practices.

The 2026 edition, “Tin–,” marks the festival’s ten-year anniversary. Inspired by tin as a symbolic material, this year’s theme reflects on resonance, duration, and transformation—“from the ringing edge of tinnitus to tolling tintinnabulations,” tracing the shifting boundary between signal and noise.

The Art Saloon preview at the Grand Annex offers a rare opportunity to encounter these works in an intimate, social setting of San Pedro’s monthly First Thursday Artwalk at a venue with its own unique acoustic properties. In keeping with Grand Vision’s programming framework, the evening will also include light live music. These elements are intended to complement the program while maintaining focus on the featured artworks and artists.
