Espejo – Metal – Liquido
This work seeks to pose a psychonoric state of reflection with otherness, in which one sees oneself represented. One’s own nature revealed, reversed, transformed in the encounter with another, where there is reflection. A curvature and mirage where light transforms and adapts forms in a special way. Perception and reality as mirrors of thin, cold sheets that drain, almost liquid. Memory, memories, personality dissolving, taking on liquid natures. In its compositional nature, it is possible to hear the play of sonic reflections and characteristics that desire to construct the sensation of multiple and intimate echoes, voices replicated infinitely, the conversation with the inner self, until whitening and liberation. The breaking of the mirage-fabric is then the return to a more real, natural, and proximate materiality. A sea that washes everything: Ears, fabrics, and a return of everything to a natural and vibrant state. The waves as cleansing and liberation.
Yomasa Landscapes I – II
Yomasa Landscapes presents the sonic construction of southern Bogotá. Brick, rubble, sharp streets, and life in the southern parts of the capital, the reflection of human life in these places and human transit through this material. This mineral construction and identity, translated into work with strings, wind, piano, the breath and nourishment of human lives, traversing this materiality in which we grow, with which we live, and in which life develops.
