MY SHAPELESS INFINITY
Exploring through live creation, channeling and connecting to sounds of darkness, hidden realms and strange shapes and shapelessness of life. Why have I always been fascinated by this sense of an otherworldly presence or dimension? I just sense a beautiful, mysterious beauty behind it all. It’s a strange beauty!
There will be some interactive components to my place where the audience can play special experimental instruments that require no experience. The audience will help connect to their darkness, their deep inner hidden side to contribute to the mood of the piece.
I bring 58 years of experience to SOUNDPEDRO being a World Class Performing Artist, Master Teaching Artist and Meditation Practitioner. All these experiences have guided and expanded my performance and composition skills and abilities in listening, transforming and understanding sound and sensibilities.
I am Mexican with Zapoteco and Coahuilteco heritage. My heritage is a large part of my music/sound creations. I utilize indigenous Mexican instruments in my sound works, either acoustically or transformed by electronic technologies. I send my ancestral instruments off to the future when composing or improvising both traditionally and experimentally.
