PARTICIPATION
Strange Birds is a performance piece for one or more performers and electronics. MaxMSP and Bluetooth motion controls to transform performers into “Strange Birds,” creatures that communicate through a combination of crow vocalizations and industrial noise.
Marisa Ramey is a musician and multimedia artist based in Southern California. She studied viola and composition at Cal State Long Beach. Her work incorporates electronic and acoustic sound, as well as interactive and multimedia works.
