PARTICIPATION

On-site event June 1st

Performance:
Spacialized sound performance/installation with art.
Based on the recent recording of Live at the Lube Room, I wish to recreate a live audio environment based on electronic sounds generated from various instruments, that will be automatically placed in dynamic locations in a stereo field. The sound generation is both activated by live player/players and automated systems. Accompanying the sound will be static art structures and lighting system. Last year we were installed into a class room gallery. This would be optimal to repeat.

On-site Event June 3rd

Audio Reflection I
This will be an installation of two large outdoor speakers connected to a mixer being fed with multiple sound sources: 1. modular electronic synthesizer programed to reflect the light and space of the surrounding environment of the location. 2. live operation of modular electronic synthesizer to reflect the light and space of the surrounding environment of the location 3. playback of a mix of prerecorded material designed to reflect the light and space of the surrounding environment of the location. This installation can be installed and operated for up to 8 hours. Interaction with viewers will change and determine direction of the soundscape.

Judith provides a large backdrop and a few life size cutouts for the performance with David .
