soundpedro2025’s theme, Chthonic: relating to the Underworld, a realm ruled by enigmas and psychopomps, a place of forgotten or yet to be remembered potential. Don’t mistake it for mere subterranean; chthonic implies both profound existential dread and hope.

2025 soncluded with a closing ritual performed by chthonic’s mascots of ceremonies. A zoetic Skeletal lurked, mediating through the camera’s gaze, as a poetic Simulacrum briefly animated itself towards cadence & evocations of the layered histories & subterranean architectures of Angels Gate Cultural Center’s earthen bunkers reverbing under mulchen landscapes.
