Steven Roden‘s works in a variety of disciplines including drawing, sculpture, film/video, sound installation, performance, and recording. Roden’s process includes transcriptions of various notations into musical scores — words, maps, and graphs. These transcriptions can inform the execution of paintings, drawings, sculptures, sonic compositions, and sound installations. Roden has exhibited internationally in museums and galleries. He has been awarded numerous fellowships and grants.
